Fresh Start 2026

We give God praise and glory for His enduring mercies that continually sustain us. By His grace, we have stepped into 2026, a year in which God is calling us to live consciously under His rule, advance His purposes and walk in the realities of His KINGDOM.

Scripture reminds us in Acts 2:42 that “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” This is the pattern of Kingdom people. The Kingdom of God is built on devotion to the Word, genuine fellowship, Christ-centred living, and fervent prayer. As we begin this year, God is drawing us back to these foundations so that our lives, families, and church will fully reflect His Kingdom.

The right way to start a year is in fellowship with God. With the blessing of a new year, we must seek God’s face for the journey ahead. As we devote ourselves to Him in prayer, He aligns our hearts with His will, plants His purposes within us, and releases grace to walk in Kingdom authority and obedience.

FRESH START is ICGC’s annual call to prayer with which we begin the year. It is a 14-day period of prayer from Monday, 5th January to Sunday, 18th January, designed to help us start the year on a strong spiritual foundation, rooted in the values and power of God’s Kingdom, as demonstrated in the early church.

This year, God is calling us to return to Kingdom devotion. As in Acts 2:42, He is drawing us into deeper commitment to His Word, stronger fellowship, Christ-centred worship, and prevailing prayer. As we focus on God’s presence and rule, we believe He will build us into a people through whom His Kingdom is revealed on earth.

Our attention is firmly fixed on our Lord Jesus Christ, the King of the Kingdom. He is the centre of our faith and the revelation of God’s Kingdom on earth. As we devote ourselves to Him, may our homes, ministries, and daily lives reflect the culture, power and love of His Kingdom.

There will be in-person prayer services at the ICGC Faith & Miracle Temple every weekday from 6:30pm – 7:30pm. You are warmly invited to join these corporate gatherings as we seek God together and contend for Kingdom realities.

As we begin this year in prayer, may the Lord establish us as a devoted Kingdom people and cause His will to be done in our lives, in our church, and in our nation.
